Do I need to change my software?
No. I start from the exports of the systems your property already uses (trial balance, ledgers, occupancy and revenue statistics) and rework them into the USALI scheme. I work with Zucchetti, Mago, Dylog, TeamSystem, eSOLVER, Ericsoft, Maxer and many more.
Does it work for a single B&B or a campsite?
Yes. I work with everything from a single hotel to groups with several companies and properties. For campsites and B&Bs I adapt the scheme: accommodation units instead of rooms, opening days to account for seasonality.
What data do you need?
The trial balance and ledgers from your accounts, your chart of accounts and the occupancy and revenue statistics from your booking system. For groups, also the data to allocate shared costs (staff hours, consumption, rooms).
How long does the first restatement take?
It depends on the complexity of the property and/or the number of properties, as well as on how detailed the chart of accounts is. Another key factor is whether costs and revenues are already recorded by cost centre/profit centre, with the related coding.
Is the first meeting really free?
Yes, the first meeting is always free and without obligation. For properties located in Lombardy it takes place at your premises; for properties in other regions it takes place online via Microsoft Teams. Either way, we look at the data available and decide where it makes sense to start.
Do you work with groups of several companies and properties?
Yes. I allocate payroll, inventory, utilities and general costs across properties and companies using agreed drivers (hours, revenue, rooms or analytical accounting), down to the calculation basis for intragroup recharges.
How often will I get reports?
Every month: a report with the main KPIs and a meeting to understand what the numbers say and what to do.
Do you replace my accountant?
No. My service is management control: it does not include statutory bookkeeping, tax advice or statutory audit, which remain with your accountant or auditor. I work on the data they produce.
How much does it cost?
Fees are agreed case by case in a written quote, based on the number of properties, the data available and how often you want reports. The first meeting is free: on site in Lombardy, online via Teams in other regions.
Which area do you cover?
I work with properties in Lombardy, Piedmont, Veneto and Trentino-Alto Adige, with meetings at your premises. I also work remotely with properties anywhere in Italy.
